Thought I would write down the cat treat recipe you came up with over the weekend.
I have to admit, you shocked me to the core when you said you wanted to
cook!
And that the cooking would involved a rolling pin! That's advanced!
Bionic rolling!
Obviously, we have the same genetic predisposition for glove wearing.
They're ready! The whole house smelled like hot dogs. The pets were salivating.
At first Max just stared at the treats. Even when you separated out of bit of hot dog. Just stared.
Catnip!
Is this the first recipe you've ever developed?
Cat Dogs (Hot Dog Treats for Cats)
by Lauren Simmons
1/2 cup milk
1 minced hot dog
1 egg
1-1/2 to 2 cups flour
1 tablespoon catnip
Mix the first 4 ingredients together until you have a ragged dough. Dump it out on a floured board or Silpat and knead it. Add a little more water or flour, whatever is necessary. Roll it the dough to 1/4 inch thickness and use cookie cutter to cut into small shapes. Cook at 350 until golden brown. Cool and toss the treats in a ziploc with catnip.
Good for cats and dogs.
Love,
